Welcome to Simply Red Salon where our mission is to offer quality products and services to the world, one client at a time. 

Simply Red Salon has conducted five major hair awareness shows in the Muncie area which included more than 100 models in each show…What great productions, with great community involvement.

Joanne McCain-Johnson is a Cosmetologist and the Owner– Operator of Simply Red Salon with a tenure that exceeds more than 20 years in business where she specializes in hair care.  Joanne is also an active member of the Advisory Board for the Muncie Community Cosmetology School.  Ongoing Education: The Staff and Associates of the Simply Red Salon travel to Chicago, IL twice a year and Atlanta, GA for International hair shows to keep abreast of trend releases.  They also take continued education classes to update their industry skills just for you, our customer!

General Information:
The Salon is open Tuesday through Friday and clients are seen by appointments only. However, Saturday appointments are available for special occasions. The salon confirms each appointment one day prior to service and there is a 24-hour cancellation notice expected in the event someone cannot keep their appointment. Fees for a “NO SHOW” are ½ of the total of the amount of scheduled services.

It is always recommended that each client schedule their next appointment prior to leaving the Salon. If a client is late for their appointment then they can either be worked in or rescheduled. (Based on Availability)

It is always our goal to provide a relaxed atmosphere, with jazz music, aroma therapy and a polite staff and client base.  Children are welcome when receiving services.
